What her friends do to help manage her food allergy:
When it comes to dealing with my food allergy, my friends make me feel comfortable and are supportive. They stand up for me, and they make sure they know how to use my EpiPen®, just in case of emergencies. They do their best to eat foods I can eat as well, and if someone at lunch is eating a peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich, they make sure I feel all right or kindly tell the person about my allergy to avoid any allergic reaction. Through their actions I can see how much they care, and that helps me to feel comfortable with my food allergy.
